On senior night, the North Allegheny girls’ soccer team trounced the visiting Shaler Titans, 11-0, in a Section 1-AAAA contest. Seven different Tigers scored goals in the win, including senior Ava Ruppersberger and junior Sarah Schupansky, who each tallied a hat trick.

In the pregame, Ruppersberger and fellow seniors Emma Bundy, Hannah Kirkpatrick, Bella Piertropola, Riley Miara, Natalie Mudd and Sophia Spano were all recognized. During the contest, Emma Bundy and Kirkpatrick scored goals.

Joining the seniors on the scoresheet were junior Ellie Wrigley, and freshmen Lucia Wells and Anna Bundy.

Junior Maddie Vukas earned the win in net as the Tigers posted their fourth shutout of the season. The Tigers outshot the Titans, 25-2.

With the win, North Allegheny improves to 10-1-1 overall and 8-0 in Section 1-AAAA. Shaler remains winless on the season at 0-12 overall and 0-7 in the section. The Tigers will visit Seneca Valley on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. The game will be broadcast live via the internet on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
